Cast Iron
– 

It is the second-best option to cook healthy food. It is strong and long-lasting also. At the time of cooking a very little amount of iron leach from the cookware but it is healthy, not bad. It retains the maximum nutrients. But it is heavy. You need to maintain it properly because it is rust-prone. So, need to make it dry properly after washing.

Stainless Steel – It is the third-best option, but a costly option. A good quality stainless steel cookware is costly. Good quality means it should be made of 18/8 or 18/10 grade stainless steel and it should be triple-ply or tri-ply.

Glass – It is one of the safest kitchen utensils. But you cannot cook on a gas top. Yes, it can be used in a microwave oven. 

Others are brass and bronze-made cookware. Both are very safe materials. But need to buy from a very genuine source. Otherwise, there will be a chance to get inferior quality items. Acidic foods are not recommended to cook in it.

Nonstick cookware : These kinds of cookware are coated with Teflon or tetra fluoro ethylene that contains material like cadmium and mercury that can cause health problems like various kinds of cancer, heart diseases etc. Slowly and gradually these elements store in the body and cause mental and nerve disorders also. 


Granite, Aluminum, and Ceramic Cookware – Please do not use them.
